Inauguration of planting of rice seedlings through rice transplanter in Atpara
Plantation of rice seedlings has been inaugurated in Atpara of Netrakona during rabi season through rice transplanter.
This sapling planting program was held on the agricultural land in Abhaypasha village of Atpara upazila on Thursday morning (January 11).
Rice transplanting program was started with this rice transplanter with the aim of implementing simultaneous cultivation of hybrid Boro rice through block demonstration under Agricultural Incentive Programme.
Upazila Executive Officer Litus Lawrence Chiran inaugurated the program at the farmer's land. Upazila Parishad Chairman Haji Md. was the chief guest in the rice planting program. Khairul Islam.
Vice Chairman of Upazila Parishad Mizanur Rahman Khan Nandan, Female Vice Chairman Tanya Nazneen Chowdhury Rekha, Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Faizun Nahar Nipa, Agriculture Extension Officer Syed Shakur Ahmad, Omar Farooq Tuhin, Deputy Agriculture Officer Shakeel Ahmed Khan and others were present.
