Raphinha: Estoy viviendo el mejor momento de mi carrera

Palma, Dec 3 (EFE) – Raphinha, the Brazilian player from Barcelona, stated on Tuesday, after scoring two goals in a 1-5 win against Mallorca, that he is living the "best moment" of his career. His performance helped break a three-game winless streak in La Liga for his team.

"Yes, I can say that I am living my best moment. I can't stop here; I want to do much more for this badge. It’s a club I have a great affection for. I’ll give everything I can on the field," Raphinha told Movistar Plus. "We knew how important it was to get back to winning ways. In the last three league games, something was missing for us to get the victory. Today we were good. I wouldn't say it was our best game, but the most important thing is that we won."

He also spoke about his teammate Frenkie de Jong, who provided an assist and scored a goal in the brief minutes he played after coming on in the second half. "He really deserves it; he's a guy who works a lot and helps us both on and off the field. He’s one of our captains, and we all have great affection for him. We’re all really happy for him today."

Raphinha also commented on the Mallorca goal, scored by Vedat Muriqi, for which he had asked the referee to review for an offside. "He explained to me that since the play ended with someone else, it was a goal. I respect his decision."
