A memorial meeting was held in Kendua on the death of journalist Aynal Haque
In Kendua upazila of Netrakona, Milad mahfil and memorial meeting was held on the untimely death of Aynal Haque (41), former information and research editor, honorable member, poet and journalist of the traditional Kendua Press Club.
On Friday (December 22), a Milad Mahfil and Remembrance Meeting was held at the Press Club Bhavan organized by Bad Jumma Kendua Press Club to pray for the peace of his soul.
The Milad Mahfil and prayers were completed under the direction of Imam and Khatib Hafez Maulana Abdul Awal of Kamalpur Baitul Aman Jame Mosque under Kendua Municipality and Md. Mazharul Islam, Director of Naopara Mahila Madrasah.
Later Kendua Press Club President Syed Abdul Wahab presided over and Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary Md Abdullah addressed the memorial meeting, Kendua Press Club General Secretary Md Liaquat Ali Chowdhury Kajal, Literature and Culture Affairs Secretary Dil Bahar Khan, Honorable Senior Member Md Ashraf Uddin. Bhuya, Honorable Senior Member, Playwright and Palakar Rakhal Biswas, Donor Member of Kendua Press Club and Principal of Sandikona School and College Babul Ahmed and others.
The speakers expressed deep grief over the death of poet and journalist Aynal Haque and praised his creativity and bold pen.
Kendua Press Club Vice President Sunil Kumar Poddar, Financial Secretary Md. Matiur Rahman, Manav Kanth Journalist Md. Rukon Uddin, Kendua Representative of Daily Bangladesh Samachar Kohinoor Alam, Office Assistant of Kendua Press Club Md. Golap Mia and other persons were present.
