More than five hundred people got the touch of warmth in Jhenaigati
Helpless families of various professions in Sherpur's Jhenaigati upazila received more than five hundred blankets. The local voluntary organization 'Voice of Jhenaigati of Sherpur's Jhenaigati upazila has come to give a touch of warmth to the cold people.
Chief guest Police Superintendent Monalisa Begum PPM formally handed over these blankets at Uttaran Public School premises of Upazila Sadar on Friday (January 12) afternoon.
Bangladeshi expatriate chief researcher of a drug manufacturing company located in America's New Jersey. With the financial support of Zafar Iqbal, 400 blankets were distributed by the district police.
Blanket distribution ceremony was presided over by the founder of the organizing organization and member of UP journalist Md. Zahidul Haque Monir. Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Arafatul Islam, Officers-in-charge (OC) of Jhenaigati Police Station were present at this time.
