
Unraveling the mystery of the murder of that former UP member in Kalmakanda
The Thana Police has revealed the mystery of the murder of Motiur Rahman Moti (60), a former member of Pogla UP in Kalmakanda, Netrokona. He is a two-time ward member of that UP. Deceased Motiur Rahman Moti has five wives and 11 sons and seven daughters.
According to the police and court sources, Motiur Rahman killed a Moti member by hitting his head and left the body in the fallow land for the purpose of hiding the body due to a dispute related to the sale of stolen cows. He gave a confessional statement under Section 164 to Judge Rimi Sahar of Netrakona district learned judicial magistrate court. Arrested Saju Khan.
After filing the case earlier, Saju Khan (35), son of Abdul Aziz Khan of the main Pogla village of Pogla Union of the upazila, and his associate Ali Uchman's son of the same village, after the case was filed the next day after the case was filed on the basis of the cooperation of information technology and the surrounding of the incident. They were arrested as Apple (21). Later on Thursday afternoon, the police sent the arrested to Netrakona District Court. Later that evening, the arrested were denied bail and sent to the district jail.
In this regard, Junib Khan, the investigating officer of the case, confirmed the truth and told Samakal that Saju Khan, who was arrested in connection with the murder of Motiur Rahman Moti, has given a confessional statement in the learned court. He said that Apple and some others were involved with him. The case is being seriously investigated. The other arrested accused is his associate. Appel will be remanded to the learned Court for cross-examination.
It should be noted that the mobile phone of Motiur Rahman Moti received a call early last Tuesday morning. Later, two men came and took him from the house on a motorcycle. In the morning, his son Babul Mia came out of the house to look for him. Later on getting the news, he found his father's body lying in a fallow land in Ramnathpur area. Ayesha Khatun, the victim's first wife, filed a murder case against unknown persons at the Kalmakanda police station as the plaintiff.
